Boomer's NBA Slam Dunk: Western Conference Finals Preview

#1 San Antonio Spurs vs. #2 Oklahoma City Thunder
Regular Season Series: Spurs 2-1

How they got to this point:
Spurs swepted both the Jazz and Clippers (8-0)
Thunder swept the Mavs, 5-game series vs. Lakers (8-1)

How I see it:
Talk about a series for the ages. The Spurs/Thunder Western Conference Finals has the making of being one of the greatest series of all time. The Spurs come into Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on a 18-game winning streak, with their last loss coming all the way back on April 11th! The Thunder have been just as good during this years postseason, beating the past two NBA Champions ('11 Mavs & '10 Lakers). Both teams have a set of Big Three (Spurs: Duncan, Parker, Ginobili Thunder: Durant, Westbrook, Harden), both teams have quality role players/bench play, and both teams have outstanding coaching. I am really am looking forward to this series getting under way tonight (8:30 TNT) in San Antonio. If the Thunder steal one of the first two on the road, I really like them in this series to represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals. Thunder in 6.
