2012 Masters Round 3 Update and Final Round Tee Times

What a Saturday in Augusta! What I thought we'd see yesterday, came full force today.  Fred Couples managed to not completely crap down his leg but it was the play of Swede Peter Hanson that has him on top at -9 for the tournament after shooting a tremendous 65 today (-7!).  Right on his heels though is Lefty, Phil Mickelson, only 1 shot behind after shooting just as impressive 66 including a huge eagle putt and a record tying 30 on the back nine, unreal.  We shall see the stones Hanson has tomorrow while being paired with a future hall of famer.  It's Hanson's 2nd ever Masters appearance whereas Phil has won this thing 3 times.
"WTF?! I got to play with Phil? Better eat my Wheaties..."
Round 4 action can be caught live starting at 2pm Sunday on CBS as well as the Golf Channel and throughout the day.

Also, I'm happy with anyone winning except Louis Oosthuizen, just a doucher of a name and South Africa can cram that up their cram hole.

Here's a look at the updated leaderboard featuring everyone under par and with a realistic chance to win this:

I have to say, besides Phil, my favorites look like total garbage.  You can't even see Tiger, Rory, or Luke in this list as all are over par and are totally out of it.  I really thought the pairing of McIlroy and Sergio Garcia would make a move today but they failed miserably.  Sergio is still in it at -1 but will have a tough go at things.  My boy Hunter Mahan is right in the thick of things at -4 and Rickie Fowler sucks.

Thankfully my no chance defending champ Charl is falling apart at +6 but its totally negated by the fact that Kuchar and Bubba are in the TOP FIVE!  I knew I would jinx myself by hating on these guys...

It's good to see Lee Westwood and Fred Couples, rounds 1 & 2 leaders, still in the hunt as tomorrow should be very exciting.  It'll be interesting to see who makes a good run in the morning entering the clubhouse before the leaders tee off.  I hope a few put some pressure on the big guns.  I'll be a homer here as I'm cheering for Phil hardcore, as well as Bubba, Kuchar, and more importantly, Mahan.  IT'S ON!
