Boomer's Urban Renewal: Final week of the CFB bowl season

Since 1936, Alabama (9) & Notre Dame (8) have won the most
National Championships. On Monday night, one of them
will add to their collection.
Two historic programs square off against each other down in Miami, Monday night for the 2013 BCS Championship. Notre Dame the #1 team in the land looks to finish off their season with a perfect 13-0, and win their first National Championship since 1988, are led by third-year HC Brian Kelly. While, the Tide of Alabama look to garner "Dynasty" status, by winning their 3rd National Championship in the past four years, under Head Coach Nick Saban.

In six previous meetings over the years, the IRISH won five of six against the Crimson Tide, but these are not your grandfather's or father's Alabama squad. Alabama shoots to keep the SEC streak alive, as the conference has won the previous six BCS Titles, while Notre Dame looks to keep silencing the doubters, and return to glory.

College Football Scoreboard, with Game Preview's of the remaining bowl games

The past three weeks have provided a number of good bowl games, and some outstanding finishes, still to come the Cotton Bowl later tonight on FOX, which features the Heisman trophy winner & two old conference rivals, over the weekend two "you gotta be a fan, to one of the four programs, to watch" bowls on ESPN, and then the BCS National Championship Game on Monday Night. It's hard to believe college football is coming to a conlusion for this season, as a number of Head Coaches head off to new programs/schools, or maybe even better the NFL, along with a number of players saying "goodbye" to their family & friends as most of them will journey into the NFL on time or a year ahead of schedule. On to my final picks for this bowl season...
