Training Camp Review: My visit to Browns Training Camp

My 2nd trip to Browns Training Camp
I mean seriously, they couldn't run one drill/play over by us, but on a positive note it was nice seeing the amount of fans there, dressed up in the ORANGE & BROWN. Here we go Browns, Here we go!!!

My thoughts from camp:

  • There are still plenty of Browns fans, a record setting 4,200+ came out for Sunday morning practice.
  • Enjoyable to see the team on the 2nd day of camp & 1st day with full pads on (stretching, drills, offense vs. defense, etc.).
  • That the team looks pretty good, going up against themselves, haha.
  • Browns fans are in love with Trent "T-Rich" Richardson, i.e. the two loudest cheers on the morning came on two burst up the middle and into open space by #33.
  • One thing that is obvious, Brandon Weeden has a cannon for a right-arm.
  • Josh Gordon, MIGHT be the answer the Browns have been looking for out wide.
  • The depth chart is filling up, but the lack of skill and experience is still an issue, esp. on offense.
  • Overall, it was enjoyable to go see the team in person and get my fix of some football in late-July, 1st preseason game (August 10th @ Detroit).
  • Last, it's important to keep everyone healthy (near healthy) during training camp and the four preseason games, and continue to get better as this will be one if not THE youngest teams (if anything, in the speciality positions on offense) around the NFL this fall.
