Army unveils WWII-inspired uniforms for Army-Navy Game

The Army-Navy Game (3:00, CBS)

  • For the first time since 2005, the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy will be on the line and awarded to the winner of Saturday's game. As both Army & Navy defeated Air Force earlier this season (Navy winning 28-21 (OT); Army 41-21). This years Army-Navy game is taken place in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field (Home of the Eagles). Navy leads the series with a record of  56-49-7, in a series that dates back to 1890. The Army-Navy Game has been played annually for the past 82 years dating back to 1930. The Midshipmen have won the previous 10 meetings between the two service academies, with Army's last win coming back in 2001, 26-17, ironically in Philly. Both teams like to run the old school triple option offensive attack. The Black Knights have struggled during a 2-9 2012 campaign, while the Midshipmen come into this game at 7-4, looking forward to playing in the 2012 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl vs. Arizona State later this month. The Army-Navy Game, is an entertaining game, as you can throw out the records when these two teams meet, and take in more then just a game. In the end, these two service academics play for the same team. USA! USA! USA! USA!
Army-Navy Game Pick: Last Week: 2-4, Overall: 57-27 Bonus Pick: 8-6
