What is in store for all 30 MLB teams this year. |
2013 Resolutions in the MLB:
AL EAST
Baltimore O's: Build off of the success from 2012, and don't be a one-hit wonder.
Boston: Return to form from the pre-chicken eating/beer drinkings days.
NY Yankees: Hitting lessons & a younger average team age.
Tampa Bay: Score some runs, to go along with that starting rotation.
Toronto: Establish some chemistry with all the new faces you acquired over the off-season.
AL CENTRAL
Chicago White Sox: (See Baltimore O's).
Cleveland: Put together a complete 162-game season.
Detroit: Find a way to win four more games in the postseason.
Kansas City: (See Cleveland).
Minnesota: Move back into the HHH Metrodome.
AL WEST
Houston: Avoid another 100-L season, in your 1st year in the American League.
LA Angels: Live up to expectations, unlike last year.
Oakland: (See Baltimore O's).
Seattle: Finish in front of the Astros in the AL West Standings.
Texas: Stay relevant in the post-Josh Hamilton era.
NL EAST
Atlanta: Win the NL East in the 1st season post-Chipper Jones era.
Miami: Forget all about 2012, and find a way to get folks out to Marlins Park for its sophomore season.
NY Mets: Have a couple All-Stars, along side 3B David Wright, when you host the All-Star Game in July.
Philadelphia: Re-establish your presents in the division.
Washington: (See Baltimore O's)
NL CENTRAL
Chicago Cubs: Be relevant again.
Cincinnati: Win a home playoff game.
Milwaukee: (See Philadelphia).
Pittsburgh: Snap the LONG losing-seasons streak.
St. Louis: SUCK!
NL WEST
Arizona: Compete with the Dodgers & Giants.
Colorado: Remember that you were in the 2007 World Series.
LA Dodgers: Hope all that money you spent, pays off.
San Diego: Enjoy the San Diego summer afternoons.
SF Giants: Go for your third ring, in four years.
There you go, my 2013 New Year's resolutions for all 30 MLB teams.
